Can Aussie-Chinese diver Esther Qin flip & twist her way to an Olympic gold?
With four Commonwealth medals under her belt, professional diver Esther Qin hopes she can score a gold at the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games.
Combining the training from her Mexican-Australian coach Chava Sobrino, and her Chinese-Australian influences, Esther brings a flair to the diving pool unlike any other.
Esther and her family moved to Australia from Guangxi, China in 2009 when her father received a job as a chef.
Prior to the move, Esther began training in diving at the age of 11, but before this, she was a gymnast.
Esther has competed in a number of international competitions, including the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014, the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018, the Summer Olympic Games in 2016, the FINA World Aquatics Sports Championships, and more.
