Celebrating Bolivian dance and Spanish song

The Spanish and Latin communities in Brisbane will be celebrating their rich traditions at the upcoming La Fiesta Latina showcasing Bolivian dance and Spanish song!

The two groups performing are the dance group Bolivia Marka and the vocal trio Las Chimilitas.

Bolivia Marka 

Bolivia Marka Dance group was founded in 1999 by Jaime Moscoso and his two daughters Mindy and Romina who perform traditional dances infused with the three ancestries of Bolivia, indigenous Spanish and African.

This group is fun, colourful, and energetic and are proud to showcase their folkloric dancing and heritage.

Las Chimilitas

Las Chimilitas are a female vocal trio inspired by passionate Spanish and Latin American melodies and rhythms that take you on a journey of the soul and will have your heart pounding long after the show.

Las Chimilitas explores the rawness and purity of the voice with a special focus on acapella harmonies and vocal percussion.
