The Ballmurphy Precedent (2018)

 

Set in Belfast 1971, this captivating documentary recalls one of the most significant events of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. 

The investigation into this tragedy, which led to the continuing hostility between the Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland, is explored with real-life accounts of the massacre that shook Belfast. The documentary, from award-winning director Callum Macrae, is gripping, devastating and real and one to watch!

Calm with Horses (2019)

 

An ex-boxer gets caught between carrying out deeds for a gangster family and caring for his young autistic son. 

This film is violent, gritty and intense and promises to have you on the edge of your seat. Directed by Nick Rowland and featuring actor Barry Keoghan, Calm with Horses promises to entertain and captivate its audience.

Extra Ordinary (2019)

 

Described as Ireland’s ‘What we do in the Shadows’ with ghosts, this horror comedy is sure to tickle your funny bone!

This comedy became a smash hit in Ireland and can now be enjoyed from the comfort of your home. The film humourously explores the supernatural in an everyday town in Ireland. Actors Maeve Higgins and Barry Ward feature in the entertaining flick that is not to be missed!

Dark Lies the Island (2019)

 

A long-standing family feud in a small Irish town comes alive in this black comedy.

This film combines two short stories from award-winning Irish author Kevin Barr.  It features an all-star cast: Pat Shortt, Peter Coonan, Tommy Tiernan and Moe Dunphy. The film is raw, funny and dark, promising to have viewers intrigued from start to finish!
