Two of America’s RNB and Hip Hop heroes are making their way down under for Sydney’s renowned Vivid Festival, as part of the massive music line up in 2018.
Ice Cube and Solange Knowles will be returning to Australian shores to play four sold out shows each at the Sydney Opera House.
Known as the new queen of R&B, Knowles will be performing all the hits from her third studio album, A Seat at the Table, as a celebration of black culture and womanhood.
This will be her official return to Australia and she will be backed up by dancers on a 360 degree stage in her Opera House debut.
Also making his debut in Sydney’s iconic performing arts venue for his only Australian shows, Ice Cube will be showcasing his talent as an extraordinary lyrical scribe by celebrating all the hits from albums such as Straight Outta Compton and Everythang’s Corrupt.
Since being a founder of the LA rap group NWA Ice Cube has been a pioneer for the West Coast rap scene, by inspiring other rappers to use their music for socio-political change.
