Lyell Vergara: I’m so glad I can make a difference to my family in the Philippines!
Lyell Vergara came to Australia from Cebu, Philippines! She has been working as a registered nurse in Sydney, over the last seven years.
“I like to help people.” said Lyell.
Her family back home in the Philippines is very important. To support them, especially during a time when there are travel restrictions, Lyell sends money back home.

New South Wales has the most number of Filipinos followed by Victoria based on 2016 data.
