Proud Samoan-Australian, Uo Alaalatoa will have a foot in each camp while she watches her nephew Allan Alaalatoa run out for the Wallabies on September 15, 2018, in their match against the Argentinian Pumas at CBUS Stadium on the Gold Coast.
As the community elder of the Samoan and Pacific Island Community, Uo has a strong tie to the local area, a strong passion for Rugby and loves to watch her nephew play the sport as a proud Wallaby.
“It’s really special that Allan is a Wallaby and that I will have the opportunity to see the team on the Gold Coast”, she said.
Our Samoan community look forward to the match and our family can't wait to see Allan in the green and gold jersey.
“Rugby is huge for us and we’ll be there in force with family and friends cheering on Allan and the Wallabies, and I urge all other members of the Pasifika community to join us.”
Also currently playing for the ACT Brumbies in the Super Rugby, 24-year-old Allan Alaalatoa plays prop forward for the Wallabies and is known for being a top scrummager with an unbelievable engine.
