Irish Rugby Union to tour Australia for the first time since 2010
The Irish Rugby Union team will be visiting Australia for the first time since 2010 this year, in the first ever three-Test series between two nations. The rivalry between the countries has been amped over up over the last few months, with both teams frequently leapfrogging each other in the international rankings.
Ireland has faced off against Australia in four different test tours down under, with the team having not beaten the Wallabies on Australian soil since 1979. The teams will face off against each other in three different matches in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Here are the match details:
- Saturday June 9, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
- Saturday June 16, AAMI Park, Melbourne
- Saturday June 23, Allianz Stadium, Sydney
